Kristie Straarup
is a registered massage therapist and has been practicing and teaching
the healing arts since 1980. She has been a student at all
of the major massage schools in Thailand and studied privately with
some of Thailand's most auspicious teachers. In her classes she
combines the best of this traditional information in a comprehensive
style.
In addition to her courses with
the Academy of Thai Massage, she has taught Thai Massage in the
spa program at the Canadian Accupressure College in Victoria, BC. |

As well as teaching classes, and providing massage and spa services, she
works as a consultant, designing courses and training programmes for
spa personnel that incorporate Thai massage with other modalities, such

Kristie has studied many different modalities including: Tragerwork, Shiatsu, Jin Shin Do, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Balinese Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Systemic Deep Tissue Work, Traditional Thai Massage, Traditional Thai Foot Massage, St. John Neuromuscular work, Hypnotherapy and she is a certified yoga teacher.
